Oregon Symphony

Nothing speaks Portland quite so eloquently as Carlos Kalmar and the Oregon Symphony Orchestra. Tonight Alban Gerhardt not only played the Prokofiev Cello Concerto, but he also played with the OSO in the cello section when they performed Dvorak's New World Symphony. Carlos Kalmar conducted without a score and without his glasses. He was magnificent. The orchestra was phenomenal.
